Full day at the keyboard today – I want to finish the thing in front of me so I have Sunday free to either work on something else or chop some wood. I got woken up early by a cat paw on my face. But I do have some notes I want to get down here before the end of the day.
Found myself picking up my phone too much again, in the last week, and clicking around the same news sites during the day. Probably some hangover from having to be on top of everything over the holiday period, various other bursts of work activity and post-stress anxiety. A conscious move to embrace the quiet and use the thinking time is required. I have been extremely productive in the first two weeks of this year. I’d like to keep pushing that. Note to self: stop farting around.
