Lots of things going on here all of a sudden. I need to get it all organised. I’ve been in this chair so long that my spine is compressed, and the garden work is piling up. Monday is May Day Bank Holiday – or, as the government apparently now calls it, Early May Bank Holiday, presumably to try and stop people chanting “hooray hooray it’s the first of May / outdoor fucking starts today” – so I’m taking a long weekend in the garden to get shit done and clear my head ready for a full-speed start on Tuesday. I need to get about a hundred and fifty pages written in the next month.
ON DECK: I need to get Sunday’s newsletter done, finish out my notes on DEPT. MIDNIGHT 104 recording, and figure out what I still need to do on part 106 of WRITTLE 2 audio drama and get that draft locked.
INBOX: 67. Avail today. Friday-Monday, expect three-hour delays on email, will be faster on messaging apps.
LISTENING: Scott Tuma has been slowly re-releasing his back catalogue as digital albums on Bandcamp. I’m just pressing play on one of his I don’t already own, EYRIE.
