Hey, when you’re a hermit with lactose intolerance, being able to make your own fancy ice cream is a big deal. I have two more pints of base and a melon sorbet base in the freezer.
I work a little less because I like making other things too. Making time for a lunch of smoked salmon, samphire, mixed leaves, spring onion, red pepper and tomato (all orgqnic) with a fig balsamic drizzle makes me feel better. I probably work better when I feel better.
Autumn soon. I can roast coffee and make espressos spiced with cinnamon and ginger. Eggs from the chickens in the garden scrambled with paprika.
This is basically my reminder to self that life is actually pretty good, and that I would like a cocktail.
