Making roasted tomato and red pepper soup.

My laptop’s mouse is playing up weirdly. Yesterday it caused some bizarre software conflict that drove the CPU to 100% and stopped the machine from fully restarting. I was just congratulating this old ThinkPad on having survived so long without major glitches.

ON DECK: Consult job today, an outline. Queueing up stuff for next year, starting some conversations. LA will again on Monday for a week or so, and then probably go back to sleep until January, so it’s a good time to get thinking.
INBOX: 91, but I haven’t processed the last two days’ worth of newsletters (I get a lot of them) and I have a mess of delivery notifications in there. I am watching the little DHL truck getting further and further away even though I am supposedly its next stop. Looks to me like he’s off to get his lunch at the Saxon King.
