It’s not quite raining. But so dark we have all the lights on indoors.

OPERATIONS: processing design sketches and notes, I need to land approx 8pp of script and then start the clean-up process to get three pieces out the door tonight or tomorrow. Feeling a thinking day coming on. Which is bad, as I don’t want to put more new projects in my schedule right now. Inbox 87, and I really need to process a lot of that out, and I also need to mark up the boards. New lapboard should be arriving later.

Google Trends Visualiser on the big screen, and apparently “British Weather” is trending worldwide. Thanks for that.

Tonight I need to clear my head a little – I have two projects in front of me that demand some significant stylistic shifts and constraints, and I need to set my mind along at least one of those tracks so I can start roughing scripts.

READING: THE MERCY CHAIR, MW Craven (UK) (US+)

‘Where did you propose?’

‘I didn’t,’ Poe said. ‘Estelle proposed to me.’

‘That’s . . . unconventional.’

‘You don’t know the half of it. She lured me to a post-mortem and when I got there she’d spelled out “Will you marry me?” with finger bones.’
