As I try to develop this site into the thing I want it to be, I am reminded this morning that I should never ever do Hot Takes and root every post (aside from status and timestamp!) in its moment. Therefore, I should not write down any comment on the idea of Elon Musk “offering” to buy Twitter outright, which surely everyone saw coming after he did not take a board seat because it would have capped the amount of Twitter he could own. Nor should I observe that this would be no more than Twitter deserves.
