I haven’t bought anything from Fonal in probably a decade or more. Back in the day, it was a joy to find weird and beautiful Finnish psych-folk there. I still have those CDs, often produced with hand-made paper sleeves – I think it was a Kemialliset Ystavat CD that came with a stick clipped off a nearby tree taped to the inner sleeve as a pull-tab. But the re-emergence of Paavoharju sent me straight over to Fonal Records for the CD.

Delighted to own a copy of this. And, while I was there, I discovered that there was a new Lau Nau on CD. Which I could not leave there. Lau Nau was a favourite, back then.

What a wonderful world.
