Today should be the last day of the heavy rains. Friday, I can get into the garden and spend a few days straightening everything out, cleaning up, sowing and digging. We live in something of a microclimate, with one interesting twist – we get a frost in early June that kills any seedling unlucky enough to be out there.
Today, I wish I had a beater watch. I’m not working in the garden wearing a Dan Henry, or even an Apple Watch.

And certainly this mad thing would rarely come out of the box if I owned it. The MB&F Legacy Machine X.
(Watches tell time, and time tells stories, and watches usually have stories of their own to tell.)
