Catching up.

Last night I found a short book buried at the back of my Kindle entitled Mushrooms, Mankind, DMT, and Hyperspace by Terence McKenna, apparently a collection of transcripts of some of his talks. It appears to be no longer available anywhere, which strongly suggests it was some kind of pirate ship. I know his daughter has been busy getting old of McKenna’s legacy, so I presume it disappeared for good reasons. I was on McKenna’s email list, back in the day…

It’s said that the vitality of America is because only the dreamers and the pioneers and the schemers made the trip across. This will be even more true of the transition to space.

He kind of nailed that. Especially the bit about the schemers.
