It does not look like much, but I spent several hours yesterday cutting back the roses, the salvia, the buddleia, the fuchsia, the jasmine and the hazel. It’s all getting weeded and mulched in at the weekend, and next week the cuttings will be put through the shredder and scattered as a top layer. I feel much better for having gotten it done, and apparently the heaviest cutting period counted as 73 minutes continuous exercise. It looks like a bomb site right now, but should be in better shape by the top of February.
ON DECK: It’s a front-to-back scripting day. The boards are marked up, I’m waiting on a couple of contracts, and I have some calls to schedule.
