Planting yesterday. Noticed another plant has been chewed off and disappeared – either one of the insane squirrels or that prick of a fox. Very annoyed about that. But a day away from the desk has refreshed my eyes, and I still have a hibiscus to plant, bluebells to dig up and reposition, a pond to dredge and a patch of soil to amend (as well as miles of bindweed to rip down, bag and soak), so I will steal another afternoon away from the keyboard in the next few days.
Now it’s back to assemblage and new scripts. I have a backlog of new films and new music to enjoy.
