Deep in this outline. Which I am very much regretting. But it’s not the sort of story I trust myself to improvise through – it has strict chapter lengths, and I can’t put myself in the position where I’m starting episode eight with either too much story left to tell or no story left to tell. Commercial episodic fiction has its rules, and sometimes you know in your bones when it’s going to be a bad idea to break some.
