Too cold to do anything out there today – there’s a sharp wind taking it down to 5 C in real terms.

It’s April 1, or, as I think of it, Amateur Day, which means I have to expire much of my RSS list to wash out the bullshit. I have a long-standing personal policy of doing as little as possible online on this day.

OPERATIONS: Just managed to stitch 33 art pages into a PDF. Haven’t had to do that in a while, but the artist doesn’t have the ability to do it, which is something that hasn’t happened to me in years. Finally, a collaborator even more useless at tech than me. Damn! But that is probably the extent of my outward-facing work today.
STATUS: Tonight I am making venison and truffled cheddar melts with frites and truffled mayonnaise. Also, Michael Haneke’s TIME OF THE WOLF has just arrived on MUBI. So, a happily disengaged day, I think. I’ve already gotten my resting heart rate down by 2 bpm this year.
