Middle of February. Peach trees trying to blossom. I’m out of time for spring prep. Shit.

ON DECK: I need to write about 12 pages in about four hours to get back on track. PROJECT EXPLOITS RIVER needs starting, PROJECT RED HOUSE needs a proper ending and script, new consult thing may be happening on a tight turnaround this week.
INBOX: 91.
OPERATIONS: I want to come to some kind of conclusion in the office by 4pm so I can use the last hour of daylight to clear the garden. But I also need to finish clearing the back of the office so I can do videocalls in here when necessary and generally create a bit more operating space.
LISTENING: ALL LIFE LONG on repeat, for thinking space.
CONDITION: exactly eight hours sleep, resting heart rate 72 but averaging 74 over the last week. Literal pain in neck. Remembering today why other writers form companies while I’m always the idiot who does everything on his own.
