Covered in cuts from spending all Sunday raising that storm-fallen jasmine tree without killing it. Still have a relative in the hospital. Still waiting on stuff.
Had a food delivery fail this morning, so I have to move up my plans for the week and make the VASTY CHILI. I do not have a grand cauldron, so I have to use the giant wok to make the VASTY CHILI. There are about two kilos of venison and beef and smoked lardons and Iberican chorizo and chopped saucisson sec in the VASTY CHILI. In an hour, I will begin the process by roasting two heads of garlic and half a kilo of cherry tomatoes in oil, wine, salt and apple balsamic vinegar for ninety minutes. The VASTY CHILI is complex. I box up whatever isn’t used for the first meal and have portions of it it cold with two fried eggs for lunches for the rest of the week. So if I’m not answering emails or messages today, t’s because I am constructing the VASTY CHILI.
I’ve taken to doing Connections and Wordle first thing when I sit down in the office, to check my brain for worms. No worms today. Aside, obviously, from my use of the word VASTY.
