I had no idea I was still subscribed to mono.kultur. That was a pleasant surprise.

OPERATIONS: Not sure where the month has gone. Outlining today, scripting for the rest of the week, and I’ll see where I am by Sunday. Side projects for the evenings. Waking hours are full.
STATUS: I feel like I’m fighting off a bug. This always happens when I clear the deck to start a new production schedule. One day all fired up, next day too exhausted and dragging to follow through. Probably just a bit broken from three days’ heavy work outside.
READING: ROAST FIGS SUGAR SNOW, Diana Henry, a classic autumn/winter cookbook. (UKUS+)
LISTENING: Unclassified
LAST WATCHED: THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC (1928) on the BFI Player

THINKING ABOUT:

Yesterday a mirror slithered from its nail and fell to the floor and lay there reflecting the ceiling. It’s small, didn’t break, and looked like it was enjoying the change of scene. Now, when I pass, the wall blanks me, which gives a tiny shock of bereavement, though I’m not sure who has died.

CAIRN, Kathleen Jamie
