
It’s been a day of deliveries, so far. Now I have what should be the final weapon required in my garden arsenal for the grand battle of mass pruning and other destruction.

I will be largely unavailable this weekend because I need to construct a series of A-frames out of these in order to protect the garden bed at the back. Every time I till and amend that soil ready to do something with it, every animal in the area shows up, digs it out and shits all over it. So now it’s A-frames to suspend pegged-in netting from. Which also means I need to whittle pegs.
