Today’s been constant so far. Already had to go out to the one good local butcher left, for oxtail, chicken thighs and wild boar sausages (and Rutland cheese, which I haven’t tried before, which will make a lunch with walnuts and the bag of speck I also picked up). Have to head out again later for vegetables. Feels like a week where I’m not going to get a minute’s peace to form thoughts of my own, too.

The newsletter for Sunday is pretty much done, and I need to get into the next one, probably tomorrow. For now, I’m hoping to carve out a couple of three-hour blocks to work on this outline in front of me and do script corrections on a couple of other pieces.
