No brand lossless digital audio player from China is being loaded up with SD cards. Swapped out the earbuds I bought from the same place for it because they were just weird, and put my old monster quad-driver 1Mores in it for a better fit. The user interface on this bastard is basically Windows 3.1/early WinAmp. But after years of making do with the phone and bluetooth earbuds and having to fuck around with proprietary cables whenever I wanted to charge or reload my old 20GB Sony mp3 player…

Recent earnings reports and consumer data show a bifurcation in the US that experts call a “K-shaped” economy. It means wealthy consumers do well and spend freely while lower- and middle-income people struggle and scrimp.

OPERATIONS: Script, email, think. Waiting on a new lettering test so we can get motoring into the production phase of a graphic novella, waiting on research materials for a tranche of short stories.
STATUS: Already on my third double ristretto, if that tells you anything. Email is quiet, and today I’m removing a few newsletters from my rotation.
