I have a hundred things to do today, but about fifty of them are going to be curtailed by the filthy weather outside – wearing a coat and gloves in early July is different. So the little slack that gives me is being taken up by starting to type up the notes in this notebook and turning them into scripts. This is a side project that a friend and I are doing for fun, which of course means it’s taking up far more headspace than it probably should, but it’s really fun. Last night was me and this notebook and the Rabbit R1, calculating travel times at multiples of the speed of light and getting into the fiddly bits of the Alcubierre proposition.
The rain is lashing and the wind is booming and the mancub, an outdoor cat, blames me entirely.
