Sharply cold today. The boy cat here tends to blame me for it. The girls are indoor cats – one is baking herself in the window, the other is sulking in a nest of blankets, both of them too pissed off to even bug me for breakfast.

Thinking about discovery again today, and surfacing interesting digital-first publishers (because it’s easier and more storage-efficient for me to read on Kindle). Listening for the sound of the future again, tuning out the noise of the endless present.
