Just as our old Philips tv was giving up the ghost, we were gifted a 2006 Sony Bravia. It’s old and a little worn, but I have enough bills this time of year that I decided not to look a gift television in the mouth. It will do fine for now. The next day, I spent thirty quid on a Chromecast, and fitted it this afternoon. I only had to scold it once to get it to work, and then I connected my MUBI and ARTE accounts to it. So now I can watch art films and concerts in comfort, rather than in the office or with an iPad propped on my lap. I am calling this a win. I am far happier with this than I have any real right to be. Now I am watching BERBERIAN SOUND STUDIO with a glass of wine.
