My RSS Reader Is Getting Dry

If you’re still doing, or have recently returned to, the blogging thing, please drop me a note at warrenellis gmail com ?

I mean, if you’re all on lockdown at home anyway, why not consider it? May as well broadcast out into the wastelands, right?

Incidentally, if you’re into pens and notebooks, The Pen Addict has got you covered.

This looks like the last photo I took of the pair of them together. The one on the right died this morning, so, instead of easing into what looks like a very busy day, I’ve been digging a large hole and calming the remaining one.

They’re really very old, for rescue chickens. (All our chickens have been rescues from egg production plants and farms.) It appears that she got up, finished the food, had some water, began her usual practice of unleashing a blood-chilling howl for her breakfast in order to shred my early-morning brain, and keeled over on the spot. So our comfort is that she went out in the way she would have wanted to.

Today’s Ambient: THE BREAKDOWN OF EDITH D_, Dirty Knobs

Dirty Knobs, who did the sound for my production card (you see it on the end of every episode of CASTLEVANIA Season 3) and the logotone for my SPEKTRMODULE podcast, pre-releases three tracks from forthcoming new album. Lovely stuff, as you’d expect.

It’s still winter here.

The news continues to be a trash fire, and it’s leaking over into the newsletters I get, now. Writing some more filters in Gmail later. Right now, I’m at Inbox 11, with some things that need immediate attention as soon as I have more coffee in me, and then it’s into breaking an episode of HEAVEN’S FOREST. Writing in television is still happening, at least in animation, and artists are working remotely to develop the designs.

It is, of course, April 1, or, as I think of it, Amateur Day, so if you’re still on the streams, maybe come off them today. Nobody’s going to have a funny take on anything.

But I just got an email telling me COPPICE MOVEMENTS by zakè is officially released, and my CD will be mailed soon, so we’re all good here on the Thames Delta. Good morning.
