Looking Back On April 2022

Taking a moment to look back on my mark-making here over the last month and pick out the pieces I thought worked better than others, mostly for my own consideration going forward:

Invisible Alien God, Half The Bones Broken: TROUBLE IS WHAT I DO, Walter Mosley

I note that I have generally been poor at writing longer pieces, and have been relying on unpacking things from the newsletter and my personal archive. But this one took a few days:

Blog Diet: A Starter List For Your RSS Reader (Updated Spring 2022)

Destruction’s Motor: RUBICON BEACH, Steve Erickson

Disappearing Boxes: Comics And The Permanent Edition – probably the longest piece I posted this month.

This was the month I dropped A New Short Story here.

Morning Routine and Work Day, Spring 2022

A Map Of The Observable Universe

A Philosophical Spaceflight: PILOT PIRX’S INQUEST (in pursuit of writing about film more)

Comics And Time: Dundee, 28 June 2009
